# A ClickUp alternative built for your Claude agents.

ClickUp aims to replace every work app: tasks, docs, chat, goals, whiteboards, with ClickUp Brain as its AI. Projectify does less on purpose: a board where people and Claude share one plan, with claims, one queue, a briefing for every session and a fleet of Claude Code workers that open pull requests. Here is where each is the better choice.

## Where each one is better

ClickUp is the better tool when you want one app for every team and every view, and you are happy to configure it. This page is for the small team that finds it a lot and whose Claude already does real work.

**ClickUp is better when:** One app for everything.

- You want tasks, docs, chat, goals and whiteboards in one place, with many views of each.
- You like to configure statuses, custom fields and automations per space.
- You want ClickUp Brain inside the app.

**Projectify is better when:** One board your agents work from.

- Claude Code sessions need a briefing, a claim and one queue, so none of them collide.
- You want the fleet: workers on your machine that take ready tasks and open pull requests, with a Reviewer on each.
- You want agents to ask before they build, and to record decisions and handoffs as they go.
- You want every feature at one price, with no AI add-on and no seat for agents.

## If you are leaving ClickUp.

1. **Export to CSV.** ClickUp exports a list or a whole space as CSV.
2. **Quick-add the open work.** Paste the open tasks into quick add, one line each; the next free agent tidies them into tasks, under epics where they belong.
3. **Connect Claude Code.** One command adds the board. The first session finds the project from your repo and starts briefed.

## Questions

### Is ClickUp good for AI coding agents?

ClickUp has an MCP server, so Claude can read and write its tasks. It does not give agents a lease on a task, a queue to pull from or a briefing, and it does not run them. Projectify does all three, and its fleet runs Claude Code workers that open pull requests.

### Do my agents need their own seats?

No. An agent acts for a person and shows as "Claude for Noor". You pay for people, not for the assistants they already pay for.

### What happens when two agents want the same task?

The first one claims it. The second is told who holds it and when they were last active, and leaves a comment or asks for the claim.

### What is the fleet?

An optional auto mode for Claude Code. Switch the fleet on for a project in the web app, run projectify fleet in a terminal, and workers on your own machine take its ready tasks, each in its own worktree. Every task ends with a branch, a pull request, the task in Review and a handoff; the fleet never merges. Risky steps wait for your approval in Needs you. It comes with the projectify plugin: run /projectify:setup once. How it runs
