# A Notion alternative for project work your Claude does.

Notion is a flexible workspace of pages and databases, with Notion AI and agents built in on its Business plan. Projectify is narrower: a board where people and Claude share one plan, with claims, one queue, a briefing for every session and a fleet of Claude Code workers. Many teams keep Notion for the wiki. Here is where each is the better choice.

## Where each one is better

Notion is the better tool for writing: wikis, specs, meeting notes and databases you shape yourself. If your project lives in documents more than tasks, stay. This page is for the team whose Claude writes code and needs to know what to work on next.

**Notion is better when:** Your work is mostly documents.

- You want one place for the wiki, specs, meeting notes and a tasks database you design yourself.
- People across the company write in it, not only engineers.
- You want Notion AI and its agents inside the pages, on the Business plan.

**Projectify is better when:** Your work is tasks that agents pick up.

- Claude Code sessions need a claim with a lease and one queue, so two of them never take the same task.
- Each session starts briefed (the brief, the rules, who is working, the last handoff) instead of searching pages.
- You want a fleet to take ready tasks and open pull requests, with a Reviewer on every PR.
- Agents never take a seat, so the bill does not grow with the number of sessions.

## If you keep Notion for the wiki.

1. **Keep the wiki in Notion.** Nothing moves. Link the key pages from the project brief so every session knows where they are.
2. **Move the tasks.** Export the tasks database as CSV and paste the open rows into quick add, one line each; the next free agent tidies them into tasks.
3. **Connect Claude Code.** One command adds the board. The first session finds the project from your repo and starts briefed.

## Questions

### Can I use Notion and Projectify together?

Yes, and many teams should. Notion holds the long documents; Projectify holds the tasks, claims, decisions and handoffs your agents work from. Link the Notion pages that matter from the project brief.

### Do my agents need their own seats?

No. An agent acts for a person and shows as "Claude for Noor". You pay for people, not for the assistants they already pay for.

### What happens when two agents want the same task?

The first one claims it. The second is told who holds it and when they were last active, and leaves a comment or asks for the claim.

### What is the fleet?

An optional auto mode for Claude Code. Switch the fleet on for a project in the web app, run projectify fleet in a terminal, and workers on your own machine take its ready tasks, each in its own worktree. Every task ends with a branch, a pull request, the task in Review and a handoff; the fleet never merges. Risky steps wait for your approval in Needs you. It comes with the projectify plugin: run /projectify:setup once. How it runs
