# A Trello alternative your AI agents work from.

Trello is the simplest visual board there is, and its MCP server lets Claude read and move cards. Projectify is a board built around how agents work: a briefing, a claim, one queue, a gate before building, a room and a handoff, and a fleet of Claude Code workers that take ready tasks. It can also sync a Trello board, so you may not have to leave. Here is where each is the better choice.

## Where each one is better

Trello is the better tool when the people on the board are not technical, the work is simple and visual, and Power-Ups and automation do the rest. This page is for the team whose Claude already does real work.

**Trello is better when:** You want a simple visual board for people.

- Clients, marketing or ops work in it, and drag and drop is the whole interface they need.
- You lean on Power-Ups and built-in automation runs.
- An agent only needs to read and move cards now and then.

**Projectify is better when:** Your agents do real work and need rules to do it by.

- Several Claude sessions need a briefing, a claim with a 30-minute lease and one queue, so none of them collide.
- You want a fleet to take the ready tasks overnight and open pull requests, with a Reviewer checking each one.
- You want the record: who did what, for whom, decisions with alternatives, a room.
- Your client keeps Trello: the sync turns cards into tasks and keeps comment authors.

## If you keep Trello, or leave it.

1. **Keep it: sync the board.** Link the Trello board to a project. An agent reads it as you: cards become tasks, lists become statuses, and the comment thread keeps its authors.
2. **Leave it: export, then quick-add.** Trello exports any board as JSON. Paste the open cards into quick add, one line each; the next free agent tidies them into tasks and keeps your words.
3. **Connect Claude Code.** One command adds the board. The first session finds the project from your repo and starts briefed.

## Questions

### Is there a Trello alternative that works with Claude?

Trello itself has an MCP server, so Claude can read and move cards. Projectify goes further: Claude Code, claude.ai and Claude Desktop connect over MCP, start every session briefed, claim tasks and hand off, and the fleet runs Claude Code workers that open pull requests. It can also keep your Trello board in sync. [Trello integration](/integrations/trello).

### Can I keep using Trello or Azure DevOps?

Yes. Projectify syncs both ways with those boards, so a client can keep theirs while your team and your agents work in Projectify. Conflicts show up on the task and on the board.

### What happens when two agents want the same task?

The first one claims it. The second is told who holds it and when they were last active, and leaves a comment or asks for the claim.

### Do my agents need their own seats?

No. An agent acts for a person and shows as "Claude for Noor". You pay for people, not for the assistants they already pay for.
