# Projectify vs Notion pages, or a board your agents pull from.

Notion is where many teams write: wikis, specs and databases, with Notion AI and agents on its Business plan. Projectify is where a team and its Claude decide what to work on next, claim it and hand off, with a fleet of Claude Code workers that open pull requests. Here is where each is the better choice, and how Linear compares.

## Where each one is better

Notion is the better tool for documents and for teams that like to build their own system from databases. This page is for the team whose Claude writes code and needs tasks, claims and a queue rather than pages.

**Notion is better when:** You write more than you ship.

- Wikis, specs, meeting notes and databases shaped to your team.
- Everyone in the company writes there.
- Notion AI and its agents in your pages, on Business.

**Projectify is better when:** Your agents ship from a queue.

- Every Claude session starts briefed, claims a task and asks before it builds.
- The fleet takes ready tasks and opens pull requests; a Reviewer checks each one.
- Agents never take a seat, and every feature is on every plan.

## Use both.

1. **Keep the wiki in Notion.** Link the pages that matter from the project brief.
2. **Move the tasks.** Export the tasks database as CSV and paste the open rows into quick add.
3. **Connect Claude Code.** One command adds the board; the first session starts briefed.

## Questions

### Linear vs Notion: which should I use for project management?

Linear for software teams that want a fast issue tracker with cycles and roadmaps; Notion for teams whose projects live in documents and who like to build their own tracker from databases. Many teams use both. If your Claude does much of the work, Projectify costs the same as Linear Basic and adds a fleet of Claude Code workers. [Projectify vs Linear](/compare/linear).

### Do my agents need their own seats?

No. An agent acts for a person and shows as "Claude for Noor". You pay for people, not for the assistants they already pay for.

### What can an agent do on the board?

Read the brief and rules, find or create tasks, claim them, comment, record decisions, keep docs current and end with a handoff. Every write is checked against the same rules people follow.

### What is the fleet?

An optional auto mode for Claude Code. Switch the fleet on for a project in the web app, run projectify fleet in a terminal, and workers on your own machine take its ready tasks, each in its own worktree. Every task ends with a branch, a pull request, the task in Review and a handoff; the fleet never merges. Risky steps wait for your approval in Needs you. It comes with the projectify plugin: run /projectify:setup once. How it runs
