# Monday and Projectify

Items become tasks, subitems become subtasks, updates keep their author and time, and the files come with them. An agent reads the board as you; a token is optional, for scheduled syncs and write-back.

## How it works

- **Groups and columns become statuses.** Your note says what the groups and status columns mean; the agent decides each item's status from it and keeps what it learned on the board.
- **Subitems become subtasks.** A subitem carries its parent, so after each batch the task becomes a subtask of its parent's task. A parent you set by hand in Projectify wins and stays.
- **Updates and files come across.** Updates with their replies and assets are copied with the author on Monday and when they wrote it. Files are copied into the sync, so tasks show them without the board's login.

## Set it up

1. **Add the board.** Setup › External boards: paste the board link, name it, pick the component it feeds and write what is there and what to read. Scope it to a group if the board is big.
2. **Let an agent read it.** The agent opens the board in your signed-in browser, opens each group in scope, each item and each subitem, and sends them in batches. No script runs in the tab.
3. **Schedule it with a token.** Store a personal Monday API token once and the server reads the board through the official API in one call, covering subitems, updates, column titles and files; the sync can then run on a schedule and write back.

## What your agents see

An agent reading a synced Monday task sees the item, its group, its updates with authors and times, its files as images and its subitems as subtasks.

A resync carries each item's last update time, so only the items changed since are opened again.
